Do Jesuits Have Oblates?

[Kittycoin]

I know there are several religious orders that have oblates, but I have never heard of Jesuit oblates. Do they have oblates, or something similar?

Thanks in advance for answering,

and may God bless you all

When St Ignatius founded the Jesuits, he did not want a “Second Order” of nuns or sisters attached to it, and therefore the idea of a Third Order as well is foreign to the Society.

However, the Jesuits were patrons of the Sodality of Our Lady. Alas, this group now appears moribund. Perhaps someone with more information could inform as to its present state.
