Right. I think that’s what is always lacking here.
PERSPECTIVE and EDUCATION.
Hoodies are a winter garment.
Yeah, kids like them. My girls, who are the most feminine things ever, wear them all the time. They’re covered up for Pete’s sake.
My pastor for one, is happy to see young people in Mass. The greets them warmly, always reminding them they are unique children of God. He never fusses about clothing.
Hopefully, one day we will all be wearing the standard issue shroud on the streets of heaven one day.

Considering he was talking about Confirmation candidates in front of the community, I’m pretty sure he wrote exactly what he meant, the sanctuary. His OP contained this line: “When the candidates for confirmation stood before the faithful inside of the sanctuary, two of the teen males were wearing ball caps”
He doesn’t know the difference in a Catholic church. See the bolded part of his comment above. He also at one point clarified as wearing ball caps as the confirmation candidates line up to process into the nave, which he calls the sanctuary. It’s a common mistake as protestants call the worship area of their church the sanctuary.
