Do Men Still Have to Work?

I noticed in the New Testament that Adam’s curse, “by the sweat of your brow, the ground shall bring forth herb for you” isn’t really indicated. In fact, quite the opposite, “Look at the birds of the air, they neither reep nor sow, yet your heavenly Father supplie for them.” Is there anywhere in the Bible that says Jesus lifted the curse of Adam? I know that the curse of woman, that, “I will increase your pains with child bearing” can be lifted by raising Christ-like children. Is the same true for Adam, only with work?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is your source for that? It doesn’t make sense to me. If the curse of woman is painful child-bearing, how can it be lifted by raising children after the painful childbirth?

my children are pretty darn good, but if I have already raised them to be Christ-like, how is that going to ameliorate the “pain in child-bearing” I experienced before I had a chance to raise them, and where did you get this theory, anyhow?
I am fascinated to see how your reasoning works to the point where men no longer have to work, have you explained it to your employer?

The only man who doesn’t have to work is the one with a rich wife.

I will conclude with the old saw, man must work from sun to sun but woman’s work is never done.

This is not the first time you have posted bizarre comments as Catholic teaching so I would very much like to know your sources.

I think the OP is referring to these:
Gen 3:16:

To the woman he said: “I will intensify the pangs of your childbearing; in pain shall you bring forth children.”

1 Tim 2:15:

But she will be saved through motherhood

…for women and these:
Gen 3:17-19:

To the man he said: "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat, "Cursed be the ground because of you! In toil shall you eat its yield all the days of your life. Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to you, as you eat of the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face shall you get bread to eat, Until you return to the ground, from which you were taken

Matt 6:26:

Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they?

This is a misreading of the Gospel. Jesus, in Matthew (also Luke), tells us to not worry, not to avoid work.
Matt 6:31:

So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’

The answer (regarding the necessity of work):
2 Thess 3:10:

we instructed you that if anyone was unwilling to work, neither should that one eat.
