Do Muslims believe that Christians can go to heaven?

In my reading of the Quran, I came across a few chapters that I would like some clarification / explanation on.

Surah 2:62

“Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with the lord, no fear will be concerning them, nor will they grieve.”

Surah 3:85

“And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he in the Hearafter, will be among the losers.”

Surah 5:72

“They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary” while the Messiah has said “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him in Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.”

Surah 5:73

“They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the third of three.” And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.”

My question is, how is is that in Surah 2:62 can Christians will have their reward with the Lord in Heaven but in the other Surahs, they take refuge in the fire?

Hm this is a question I would love to hear more about. I know on the right there are Muslims holding any who have not made the Shahada will have their lot in the flames on Judgment Day, and on the left who say much nicer things await the faithful “People of the Book”.

I have not studied the Quran, but speaking strictly from a grammatical standpoint, from how you have translated and/or copied it here, Surah 2:62 reads that those who were formerly Jews, Christians, or Sabeans who believe in Allah on the last day would be saved.

Gramatically, the other verses don’t refute Surah 2:62. They simply don’t mention a way for a non-believer of Allah to be saved.

I think so but we would not want to be in their heaven, Muslim heaven is little more than a good old fashioned Greco-Roman orgy where a Muslim man is rewarded with 72 virgins who never lose their virginity, 28 pre-pubescent boys, recliners inlaid with gold and other jewels and wine that causes no drunkeness.
