If an unbaptized person is civilly married to a non-Catholic, but validly baptized person, do they need their marriage convalidated if the non baptized person wishes to become Catholic?
No, the marriage does not need to be validated. Any exchange of marital consent between non-Catholics is considered a valid marriage. You are currently in a valid natural marriage. Once you become baptized the marriage will automatically become a valid sacramental marriage.
