Do non-Catholics support illegal immigration like the Catholic Church does?

I have look at the Novus Ordo Mass and I see nothing that has prayers in it at all Unless your Pope has change the book the million time since 1969
 
I a big fan freedom of speech,

Freedom cost something like mens lives in combat
 
I just add the Novus Ordo to my computer so I can look chapter is verse

Who will be the first to tell me what page it is on for the prayers for the arm forces of US or any country.

“General Intercessions”, right before the Liturgy of the Eucharist, where each parish prays for what is relative to that parish. Those who have died (by name), those who are sick (by name), those who just need a lot of prayer (by name), where we pray for the Pope, our Bishop and all our clergy, and this is where we pray for the military. In our parish it usually goes something like, “protect the men and women who are serving in our armed forces, especially those in Iraq and Afghanistan”. You won’t find the general intercession prayers printed out, because they are different every time and for every parish.
 
I have a copy of the Baltimore Catechism on my bookshelf with otuer book ranging from Catholic,Orthodox and Islam so I would say I can look many subject would not say so
 
I going to call a Catholic Church to find out if you say any prayer and I will ask the RC to quote the prayer that is said.

I want to see how it is said. You can be sure I will check on it.

“For those in our military who risk their lives in the service of our nation, that they might be protected from evil and harm;
We pray to the Lord:”

(response is: “Lord hear our prayer”)

"In the past, Catholic soldiers, when circumstances permitted, went to Confession and received Holy Communion before entering battle. This touching prayer for all who serve in the armed forces emphasizes the spiritual, rather than the physical, dangers of war, because physical death is powerless to kill the soul, but sin can deprive us of Heaven.

Prayer for Those in the Armed Services
O God, we implore Thee, watch over those exposed to the horrors of war and to the spiritual dangers of a soldier’s, a sailor’s, or an airman’s life. Give them such a strong faith that no human respect may ever lead them to deny it, or fear to practice it. Do Thou by Thy grace fortify them against the contagion of bad example, that, being preserved from vice, and serving Thee faithfully, they may be ready to meet death whenever it may happen, through Christ our Lord.

Maybe you were looking for a prayer for MEN in the armed forces?
 
The Catholic Church has all ways been again any action of war even when it come for self protection of ones nation.

Tell that to the families of the women and men who have died in war, and ask them if numbers broken down by gender make a difference to them.

Like I said United Catholic Conference of Catholic Bishop always came out again Res. Ronald Regan as I remember.

maybe YOU should contact any Roman Catholic chaplain in the Armed Forces.

I cannot believe this thread has turned into your Church is this and that and doesn’t do this or that. We were talking about illegal immigration and now it’s an attack against the Church because Frank J cannot find anything printed on books that will prove to him things he is making up… :confused:

Frank, I invite you to go to your local Catholic Parish and sit there for an entire Mass. There you will hear what you cannot find in those books you have. In my Parish, we always pray for those in the armed forces and for their families. Maybe if you went to a Mass you wouldn’t be making any of these lame claims.
