Hi. Some points that may be of interest:
About whether Buddhists try to convert Christians: perhaps the most well known Buddhist today, Thich Nhat Hanh, wrote a book titled “Living Buddha, Living Christ” in which he most assuredly did try to convert Christians. Hanh wrote that wondering about whether or not there is a God is a waste of energy, and that you and I are as unique as Christ, and that when you look deeply, you can find that the two religions are of the same essence.
These are very Buddhist statements, but no Christian could agree with them. I am as unique as the God of the universe? Pantheism and atheism are of the same essence as monotheism?
About Gandhi - in the book “Great Soul” by the Pulitzer prize winning author, the author finds proof that Gandhi was gay, that he deserted his wife at one point for a male lover, and also that he was a racist.
God bless, Annem
