They are seeing less “Unintentional abortions” as compared to the “Miscarriages” do to the fact of the contraceptive actions of the “Pill”. The result is not that there is less UAs then MCs, but that there is less opportunity for conception to happen under “Pill”. I did not read the entire article though, just picking out some of it.

The other point is the Church does not have a prohibition on ABCs for its UA abilities, but for lack of unitive and procreation effects. If it was due to its UA abilities, it would put such prohibitions on other medicines and actions.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but aren’t Catholic couples using the pill for theraputic reasons supposed to abstain from the marital act?

No,

Basically a UA or MC are both physical evils, but since there is no direct intent in most cases its not a moral evil. While Abortion on Demand is a direct intent to cause a physical evil act, therefor its a moral evil as well.
