do Protestants object to annointing of the sick too?

Yes, They will annoint hankerchiefs that wives bring. These hankerchiefs will in turn be placed inside the pillow case of the husband. The husband nearly in every case is not a church goer.
any denom in particular? or just anything but Catholic.

When I was pregnant with my last baby I was annointed in a Catholic church for my baby’s healing. My baby died 47 minutes after birth…hmmmmm…the annointing did not take…😉 You can’t judge wether the annointing happens or not based on wether or not you get what the annointing is for, because if it is not God’s will it is not God’s will. You can’t change God’s will.
Then I can rightly say that it is God’s will for me to remain Catholic.

P.S. you have my condolences on the loss of your child. If the feeling of a loss of a sibling is at least half of that of losing a child, then I feel your pain as well.❤️
