Do statues violate the Ten Commandments?

Please explain to me these passages from the book of Deuteronomy 4:16-20 See that you do not corrupt yourself by making an image in the shape of anything what ever; be it statue of men, women,animal on earth,birds,reptiles fish in the waters under the earth.
Now my question is we ,Catholic we have so many statue, Blessed Virgin Mother,all the saints and etc. are we violating the laws of 10 Commandments? Please answers.
