Two catholics were married in the catholic church, divorced by law and never been annuled, and want to be married to each other again, what needs to be done?
As far as the Catholic Church is concerned, nothing has to be done since the Church has always considered them to be validly married. However, for legal reasons, they will probably want to be remarried civilly–privately, of course.
