Do they all lose their Water?!

I’ve had two Lourdes Rosary, with a centrepiece with water similar say to something like this: catholicsupply.com/christmas/lourdes.html

The second time for certain, the centerpiece lost its’ Water. I only had it for a little over a year.

Has this happened to anyone else?? Is it common? Do they normally lose the water from the centerpiece?
 
I haven’t looked at the ones I had but it sounds familiar, which makes me think they may not be as airtight as we think. Perhaps, slowly it evaporates or even seeps into the Crucifix material even without the little glass/plastic window breaking. Just a thought - nothing sure on this one.
 
Yes, it happened to a Lourdes card we had, too. Evaporation. 😦 Same thing happens with the water we keep in our little holy water fonts.
