A protestant family member left his wife and moved in with another woman. He is seeking a divorce but it has not gone through. This person is aware that I feel this is immoral. He would like to visit our family with his girlfriend. What is the correct response? Is it merciful if tell them not to come? or… Is it sinful if we allow them to visit because we may give the impression that we are now ok with the adultery. Please advise.
