Do we remember in heaven?

Do we have any memory of who we were on earth when we pass on to heaven and do we keep our same physical features?

CCC 1025 says we not only *retain *our identity but become more of who we truly are meant to be. So I think the retention of our identity leads to the assumption that we are aware of our life on earth, more aware of it in Heaven then now.
If, however, there are any memories that are painful then I would think that pain is healed and replaced with pure joy.

As for our physical identity, it shall be the same, but with a glorified body such as Jesus enjoys since His resurrection, with the possibility of going through walls, instantly moving from place to place, no sickness or death etc.

It would be a body with no defect or weakness, so that one might surmise that we would appear to be in our prime, but of course this is pure conjecture.

I think so. In the story about the rich man and suffering man in the bible, the rich man shortly died and saw the suffering man in heaven. Certainly he remember the suffering man and the suffering man remembered him!

My personal laical opinion is that one in Heaven will have memory only of those events which were not condemned by sin Everything else will be burned away in purgatory. Does this have any sense?

This makes sense, unless part of the Joy of heaven is the gratitude toward God for His forgivreness. If we can’t remember that would diminish our gratitude.
