What I wrote is from scripture. You can’t show me Trinity in the bible, when you can post it.Where does it say the word Trinity in the bible? Hmm…funny how that works…the belief in the Trinity is not specifically stated in Holy Scripture but is implied and pieces of a scripture hint to it. But it was the Catholic Church with the Bishops and the Pope in the early Church who with scripture as their backup declared faith in the Triune God.
Purgatory is implied in the Sacred Scriptures in a few places
“Truly I say to you, you will not come out of there until you have paid up the last cent.” -Matthew 5:26
43 And making a gathering, he sent twelve thousand drachms of silver to Jerusalem for sacrifice to be offered for the sins of the dead, thinking well and religiously concerning the resurrection,
44 (For if he had not hoped that they that were slain should rise again, it would have seemed superfluous and vain to pray for the dead,)
45 And because he considered that they who had fallen asleep with godliness, had great grace laid up for them.
46 It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins. 2 Maccabees 12:43-46
Why should we pray for the dead if they are already in heaven? We need to pray for them because they are being cleansed of their sins in purgatory. Sin cannot enter heaven, so purgatory cleanses us from our sins and prepares us for the wedding banquet.
Christ peace to my brother in Christ.[/Q PUT YOUR TRUST AND FAITH IN GOD AND GOD’S WORD NOT IN little man’s ideas!

now we see one of the reasons why the book of maccabees is not part of god’s holy inspired word! Pray for those alive for after they die it is too late!where does it say the word trinity in the bible? It was until the reformers took it out of the Bible because they didnt agree with it. Why can you look at Matthew? I bet you want that out because it implies purgatory. Your arguments are not based on facts and you won’t answer or adress our questions that contain scripture.now we see one of the reasons why the book of maccabees is not part of god’s holy inspired word! Pray for those alive for after they die it is too late!
Sorry! But your way of reading “GOD’s WORD” needs to be Consistent.yes! God is three but one=god the father, son and holyspirit= and three=trinity
lol!!! Lets not be silly! The word bible is not in the bible!please point where in “god’s word” you find “trinity”

The word bible means:lol!!! Lets not be silly! The word bible is not in the bible!
The bible didn’t drop out of the sky. Men who were inspired by God wrote it.The holybible is only those scriptures inspired(god breathed) by god all other books are just books written by men!
Yup and we are watching. It’s not worth even responding to you anymore.satan and demons scream and gnash their teeth too when they see TRUTH posted!
Fabio, your thread seems to have been hijacked, but to get back to your original question, I found this in the Catholic Encyclopedia onlineDo we see Jesus and get our judgment before going to purgatory or we go directly to our final purification, and then see God?
The entire article is here. It doesn’t really say whether or not we see Jesus before the judgement, and we can only speculate. So the short answer is, we don’t know for sure.Theologians suppose that the particular judgment will be instantaneous, that in the moment of death the separated soul is internally illuminated as to its own guilt or innocence and of its own initiation takes its course either to hell, or to purgatory, or to heaven (Summa Theologica Supplement 69:2, 88:2). In confirmation of this opinion the text of St. Paul is cited: "Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another, in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ (Romans 2:15-16). The “Book of Judgment”, in which all the deeds of men are written (Apocalypse 20:12), and the appearance of angels and demons to bear witness before the judgment seat are regarded as allegorical descriptions (St. Augustine, City of God XX.14). The common opinion is that the particular judgment will occur at the place of death (Suarez in III, Q, lix. a. 6, disp. 52).
