Do we vote for the lesser of two evils?

Hi,

Was wondering what the Church’s position is on voting, when either candidate is not ideal, or it is not clear whether both for be bad choices. Does the Church recommend voting for “the lesser of two evils”?

Hi,

Yes, sometimes it is necessary to vote for the lesser evil. Certainly, no candidate is going to be perfect in every way. Check this link for more info on voting as a responsible Catholic:
