"Do whatever he tells you"

When the people of the famine were looking for food, the Pharaoh said regarding Joseph, “Do whatever he tells you” (Genesis 41:55).

When the people at the wedding were looking for wine, Mary said regarding Jesus, “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5).

What do you think; Is this a sign from God that Mary is speaking like royalty, and hence our Queen?

Intersting; I had never noticed that connection before. I would say that Mary is most certainly our Queen!

I wouldn’t say royalty. I don’t think that’s the point. I think it’s about speaking from a position of authority, and transferring that authority.
