I would say, no. If both the man and the woman talk, in great detail about what they expect from marriage, and spend time in their relationship really getting to know each other, then there will be few changes if any. However, that presupposes that they ask each other: āWhat do you expect from married life?ā Where will we live? Do we make enough money? Do we have reliable transportation? What about kids? Meeting each otherās family. Getting to know each otherās friends. Do that before the ceremony, and plan an affordable honeymoon, and thatās a good start.Iāve heard that women tend to change after marriage. Is that true? And if so, how do they change? Just want to understand what I can expect. Thank you.
When I did the pre cana I was shocked to learn that a huge number of engaged couple have never talked to each other about these topics and other basic ones.I would say, no. : āWhat do you expect from married life?ā Where will we live? Finally, make sure you are both on the same page regarding what you believe.
Hope this helps,

:rotfl4 arms, with the new pair growing directly underneath the first two. Itās kind of creepy at first but you get used to it after awhile.
I expect there would be some natural (and even some unnatural changes if behaviors change ) when a couple decides to marry. The consensus from the present Pope Francis for one of the purposes of marriage is that whenever a man marries a woman the woman actually makes him a better man and the man makes the woman a better woman. It is of course even better if the couple has this direct link with the Lord for whenever a couple has this relationship with the Lord Jesus already intact before they meet it would make for a dynamite team. I suspect unnatural changes whenever one or both spouses are not connecting with the Lord. A faithful husband who loves his Lord will ultimately reflect this to the woman he loves and if the woman is also a faithful witness to her Lord this relationship with the man she marries will give them this incredible witness for their Lord. It can be powerful whenever a couple knows why they are here, to give incredible witness to the Lord they both love. Any woman in such a relationship will naturally change to grow in response to this new experience.Iāve heard that women tend to change after marriage. Is that true? And if so, how do they change? Just want to understand what I can expect. Thank you.
People change if they were previously on their best behaviour but now no longer see the need to be. People who were previously relaxed and normal might perhaps not change much. Or people who always are on their best behaviour.Iāve heard that women tend to change after marriage. Is that true? And if so, how do they change? Just want to understand what I can expect. Thank you.
