I don’t think the Holy Spirit ever thinks we bother Him.
Guardian angels are always assisting and steering us.
Offering ourselves totally in service is a very Catholic practice.
:ehh: I’m not sure what message you got from post #10. I’ll clarify my intended message below.
The Holy Spirit is a higher being, while our guardian angels are lower beings. In humility, it would be wise for us to discuss more important topics, such as the state of the world and the universe, with the Holy Spirit, and lesser topics, such as everyday troubles, family life, and discernment, with our guardian angels.
Since the angels are our personal servants, they should be the first recipients of our requests. For example, if one loses the keys to his car, it would be more fitting for him to request his guardian angel for help, rather than the Holy Spirit for help.
If one desires advice from Heaven, such as advice on how to solve a particular family issue. The guardian angel should be contacted first, in respect for their assigned role.
I personally communicate with my guardian angel more than Christ himself, which should be acceptable, as the angels are representatives of God. :angel1:
I’m not attempting to downgrade the importance of the Holy Ghost or the saints. I just noticed that people *seem *to value the intercessions of the saints more than they value their guardian angels, which is quite sad. Even though the saints love us dearly, they are not our personal bodyguards or servants, not like the angels are.
