I do not discriminate among EMHC. I guess you could say I discriminate against them. If at all possible, I will seek out the priest or deacon to receive from them.
You have an incorrect understanding, and deny the authority of the Church to regulate matters of discipline. These are bigger issues than worrying about “whose hands are consecrated.”It doesn’t matter if the EM is a male or female - their hands are not consecrated thus I almost always go with the Priest to receive communion on my tongue. … I feel you receive more graces through the Priest.
Please don’t try to be more Catholic than the Catholic Church.Boy, I thought I was the ONLY one who line jumped! It doesn’t matter if the EM is a male or female - their hands are not consecrated thus I almost always go with the Priest to receive communion on my tongue.
I say almost always because sometimes the Mass is packed and I’ll be on the wrong side. I feel you receive more graces through the Priest.
hmmm…, saints never do that, do they? Please don’t try to be more Catholic than the Catholic Church.
EMCs are an example of the Catholic Church trying to be more protestant. Please don’t try to be more Catholic than the Catholic Church.
The Grace of the Eucharist (and every other Sacrament) is inherent in the Sacrament itself, not in the Minister. It is true that you do receive more graces from the ordained.

So the Minister is unimportant. It is however, a worthy thing to seek out an Ordinary Minister whenever possible.
