Do you believe aliens exist?

I doubt we also rose the same way, since our free will put us into fall.

‘We also fall the same way’.

God Bless.

Chris.
When you said fall it reminded me of the fall of Eve.

We are told that moral sense comes from the knowledge of good and evil. Scripture says that we must eat to -be as Gods knowing good and evil. Both God and the snakes say this.

God and the Church work hard to better our moral sense.
If Eve had not started us on this road of knowledge then we would not have moral sense.

Would you give up yours?
Would you stop Eve from eating?

Is living forever in ignorance of why to follow God better than a short life with knowing God and His philosophy?

We choose to sin. It is called free will. Free will is choosing for the good, if bad is chosen knowing that consequence is at hand.
If there is only one way to go then there is no freedom.
Hell as analternative kills freedom.

That is a strange label but whatever.

I would have preferred a realistic answer or no answer at all instead of junk.
I know am risking getting an infraction for lack of charity with this post, but it is worth.

Look, you little troll, you have offended me for the last time. You come in and decide bash all of Christianity. If something says something you didn’t like you try and twist scripture around to** YOUR** own little doctrine. That isn’t how it works. You haven’t agreed with anyone you have argued with. You clearly don’t know how to debate and are hear looking for trouble. Well I am not going to take it much longer. Stop trolling. I only provide on a scriptural basis and try to lead people down the right path. You constantly refuse to accept and Christianity beliefs. You have done nothing but attack since your first post. GROW THE HECK UP

1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Scripture tells us the tree is forbidden:
Genesis 2:
16 Then Yahweh God gave the man this command, ‘You are free to eat of all the trees in the garden.
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you are not to eat; for, the day you eat of that, you are doomed to die.’
Only the serpant says
Genesis 3:
5 God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil.’
If we had no knowledge of good and evil, could we commit either?
We had knowledge to obey God, not to touch that tree.

Why would I want to violate anothers free will?
If I had a wife, would I want to force her to say she loves me, rather than hear what she purely says with free will?

I guess I would have personally allowed Eve to eat, for God has promised us Salvation, something that to me is the greatest thing in mankind.

Now, there are those who follow God without ignorance, they follow with reason and logic, reason and faith.

These last few questions you ask, I’m not God, and I don’t know God’s overall plan, therefore ask Him why he gave you the right to ask these questions.

You have the freedom to steal a television from your local shop, just because you have freedom, doesn’t mean there aren’t consequences for your actions.

NOW you are calling me childish??? Look Pal, you cussed and violated the rules and offended us regular poster. Either quit or the moderators will be notified. That is not a threat, it is a promise

Who am I to say whether God created aliens elsewhere or not. Didn’t the Vatican recently release something on this subject? Anyhow, finding of life including other intelligent beings wouldn’t disprove God, but would glorify him. Heck, he created the universe, and even though in scripture it says we are his people, if he created other intelligent beings that worship him to, why couldn’t they be his people to as after all, this is HIS Universe that HE created.

Now with that said, here is another twist to this question that Ive wondered for awhile. If we do find other civilizations in space, since Jesus commanded us to preach the gospel and baptise all Nations in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, would we need to bring the gospel to these civilizations as well?

Another thought, before Columbus discovered the new world, the thought of other civilizations on the otherside of the Atlantic Ocean besides maybe the Asian Civilizations would have seem absurd. Also wasn’t the thought that the world was round and not the center of the universe also looked down upon. Again, who are we to say there is not life elsewhere. That is JMHO.

Haven’t they already found some low forms of life on Mars? I remember reading about the Russians discovering some bacteria around the time of a Russian presidential election, so it didn’t get that much publicity.
We have some low forms of life here, but they are not from outer space. I think they are called “politicians” 😃 :banghead:

What if they do exist?

How does this affect my life in Christ?

God has certainly not told us about His plans for aliens capable of a spiritual and moral life analogous to ours, if such there be.

I have a hard enough time trying to figure out His will for myself.
