Do you believe in mary's virginity

From an Old Testament and regional cultural perspective, Mary’s claim to still be a virgin even though she was pregnant would have been checked by a physical examination. If she was not a virgin [and unmarried] she would have been unfaithful to her vow. Faithlessness to this vow of marriage was regarded and punished as adultery . Since she was not stoned, her virginity was found to be intact. The fact that she was pregnant would have caused a problem. Perhaps this is why she went to visit Elizabeth.
 
The fact that Mary was “overshadowed” by the power of the Most High is enough for me to believe that Mary was ever-virgin.
