Do you believe in signs from GOD?

We are not searching for miracles or signs from our Lord. When in a dream to walk with Our Lady, Or see Christ struggling beaten and bloody with the crown of thorns around His Head and you are a child trying to help Him, how can you not believe it has a strong message in that. We can not help what we dream, but Our Lord surly has a hand in that.

The real question is why would anyone want to believe on private revelation? There is certainly no need for it. There is plenty of danger attached to it. Nothing to gain and everything to lose.

If the public revelation is not enough for a person, would suggest that something is deeply wrong. Instead of looking for “signs” such a person should instead examine their own conscience and try to figure out why faith in the Lord’s public revelation does not satisfy them. If God has provided this wonderful miracle that is good enough for everybody, what could possibly motivate anyone to want more? I cannot think of any pure motive.

Of course there is potential danger. Especially if one convinces themselves that they received an answer but that answer wasn’t truly from God. I might have flawed view of what I think private revelation or what the OP is referring to when they speak of signs. But I look at it as God hears all our intentions no matter how small and when we pray, he answers sometimes in a big way and sometimes in a whisper through the promptings of the Holy Spirit and that answer may only be for myself, that’s why it is private revelation.
Certainly the public revelation of our Lord in the fulfillment of scripture is enough. But, I don’t think that means we should stop praying or if there are concerns on our heart, HE would not want to comfort us or guide us.
