The Catholic Church can be either 100% wrong or 100% right. There is no middle groundbelieve that the Catholic church has used unspeakable arrogance for centuries to convince folks that their’s is the one true church.
Well if what you are saying is that 'on Peter Christ also founded the J W’s and LDS, then you have a point. They are no better that the Jehovah’s Witnesses or the L.D.S. .
Didn’t He? I thought He did. In fact I thought He said 'my CHURCH Mat 15:19, least my bible does not say 'my churches** pluralJesus didn’t preach one and only one true church, .
Are they? WHen did you last see a Pope carried in and out of mass? The popes are carried into and out of the mass .
THen perhaps you could bring this wealth to the attention of his Holiness, as it would undoubtedly be used to pay off some of the debt.and the Vatican is just grossly crawling with riches upon unfathomable wealth.

They carried john Paul II into his funeral mass.![]()
Hello happygal,**Hi Efrain
You remarks were alittle unpolished. You were judging all protestant churches whom taking communion as the real body of Christ. Do remember judgement shall be upon you of your censure. Therefore i suggest you to be more humble for the glory of God.**
**Hi ThereHello happygal,
I apologize for if I have insulted you in any way, which was not my intentions. I would like to clarify my previous comments further about the different doctrines held in our beliefs in the Eucharist. In Cathlocism the means of the Real Presence of Christ is transubstantiation, which translates into the mystery of Christ being present in the bread and wine as indeed real flesh and blood not merely figuratively. I have been critized for the adoration of the Eucharist and have been called an idolater by non-Catholics. There is printed material by Evangelicals about how worshipping the bread and wine is idolatry.
My previous comments were directed to Traveler who stated that he believes in the Eucharist. His denomination is sometimes Angelican and other times Evangelical which hold different doctrines about the Eucharist. They both deny transubstantiation and their Real Presence in the Eucharist is merely “spiritual” not the real flesh and blood of Christ. Now I did not intend to say that non-Catholics do not have the spiritual presence of Christ in their gatherings, but they do not nave the Real Presence of Jesus in the flesh and bloos in the Eucharist as how we believe.
If you would like we can begin a new thread about the Real Presence to explain any misunderstandings to you.
When non catholics bring up the sins of the catholic church to try to negate the objective truth of its teachings and relationship to the true church it shows forth how incomprehensible their discernment skills may be. To suggest or hope that some how the number or severity of some church member sins may well show forth directly in an inverse proportion the objective truth level of its teachings and relationship to the true church should not make good sense in any reasonable thinking persons mind. It’s your denial of the facts not mine. Call it a lack of reasearch or whatever you will, but the facts still remain about the Catholic church and its role in Nazism and the Spanish Inquisition.
I don’t understand. I consider myself Protestant, and I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. How does that make me any different?Right… And Protestants ARE part of the Catholic Church, whether they realize it or not…
How come no response to my message?? Can’t think of a good one??I never said suppressed I simply said the way Catholics treat Protestants. And again, you are not a minority so please don’t play the victim role here. There are more Catholics in this country than any other denomination. I realize that we do the math differently because I will not lump all Protestants together as most Catholics would and the reason is because there are huge differences in belief and doctrine among a variety of so called Protestant denominations.
Different from what?? I don’t u/stand this Post… But the Catholic Church teaches all believers baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are our brethren… separated, but brethren (members of the Church) just the same…I don’t understand. I consider myself Protestant, and I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. How does that make me any different?
I’m a woman. I actually agree with you. I don’t agree with the Catholic Church on many things)but that’s no reason for Protestants to be hostile against them(I’m currently in love with a Catholic man as a matter of factt he’s not very strict- then again, he doesn’t take ANYTHING seriouslyDifferent from what?? I don’t u/stand this Post… But the Catholic Church teaches all believers baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are our brethren… separated, but brethren (members of the Church) just the same…
Of course, many protestants aren’t as charitable or reciprocal… toward us Catholics…
but oh well…
That reminds me of soemthing: i am wondering why don’t Protestants fight the devil rather than fighting against those who are also fighting him? To me, this constitutes fighting FOR the devil, rather than against him…
Anyway, God bless, “Brother” (or Sister).
I don’t feel u went off topic…I’m a woman. I actually agree with you. Anyway, I was never taught that we’re saved by faith alone or that scripture is infallible. The church I went to for the first 16 years of my life gave lip service to that but spent a lot of time on misogyny, Catholic and Jew bashing, and telling me everything I did was sin. I finally left when they told me I was going to Hell because my eating disorder had caused me to render me infertile(don’t ask-to this day I cannot have any children- I just hope the man I marry will be open to adoption.)
Sorry to go off topic. Anyway, I believe what i posted above.

I may be wrong as I don’t know that many Catholics, so please don’t yell at me here, but the ones I know are very much against any woman who wants to do anything besides be a wife or mother. Personally, I plan to marry and hopefully adopt later on down the road( I lost my ability to have children because of an eating disorder, but my mother’s a doctor, and I just don’t understand how that could be wrong.(Of course, not to say the first church I went to was any better about it- the only difference there was they allowed women to be ordained as pastors- didn’t stop them from telling my mother God hated her since she was a doctor and that God hated me for wanting to go into a career in the sciences.)I don’t feel u went off topic…
I am curious as to what all you disagree w/ the Catholic C. about?
I disagreed w/the Church’s focus on Mary once… (tho i was raised “Catholic”). Then i heard this story about a priest who was in a terrible accident, should have died. He had an after-life experience involving Mary… I think his name was… Father Shier?? I think that was his name… It was a very moving story… Pretty much all my doubts about her were extinguished after reading his story… but also, since then, i have heard the Church’s position on Mary (etc…) and well, learning helps so much. Have you been to an RCIA class? As you may know, they are free @ all Churches… and you can ask as many questions of the priest/teacher as you need to… I am going next session, even though i am a devout, long-practicing cradle Catholic… because i love learning about Jesus’ Church… (it helps me to be more intimate with my Savior
Thanks and God bless.
Its odd u expect 2b yelled at!!! I definitely don’t believe in yelling @ people…I may be wrong as I don’t know that many Catholics, so please don’t yell at me here, but the ones I know are very much against any woman who wants to do anything besides be a wife or mother. I’m not sure what you are asking. There are many Anglican churches that do not ordain women–all the so-called “Continuing” and other conservative Anglican churches in the U.S., for instance, and a number of non-Western churches in the worldwide Anglican Communion as well. Even within the provinces that ordain women (such as the Episcopal Church), there are diocese that do not (three in the case of TEC).Women priests??
What do they think nuns, teachers, nurses, and secretaries are?I may be wrong as I don’t know that many Catholics, so please don’t yell at me here, but the ones I know are very much against any woman who wants to do anything besides be a wife or mother.
