Do you cry during your confessions?

I don’t cry every time but yes, I do cry on a semi-regular basis. I found my crying increased after reading St Faustina’s diary because it opened up how beautiful the Sacrament of Reconciliation really is and it’s overwhelming to know that Jesus speaks through my confessor to me. I also cry at Mass sometimes.

I typically cry during absolution.

me too! often. and during a lot of communions, too.

i’m glad i saw this thread. sometimes i think i’m a big baby for crying so much. it’s comforting to know i’m running with a pretty good group of big babies, at least!

(i’ve been told "gift of tears’ too. sometimes it’s a gift i’d like to exchangefor something in my size. but i tell the Lord, do whatever you want with me. and HE does.)
