Do you ever feel drawn to go to Confession?

I had a great confessor, and it made all the difference. I’ve been so much better able to realize in my daily life the things I need to discuss with him.

Regarding an earlier post about a priest who thought penance services were a waste, maybe it would help him to know that if it is done well, it can help people a great deal with the examination of conscience. I know there are plenty good examinations out there, but I have still heard things through the guidance of a good priest that reminded me of things that I never would’ve confessed otherwise.
 
Yes, and it led me back to our faith. I stopped in a Church after many years of being away and walked into the Confessional. The Pastor was so great, I started attending Mass after many years of being away. It was awesome.
 
Yes, I feel drawn to go to confession especially after knowing I have sinned. The peace that is felt afterwards is completely beautiful and divine. How I wish I could feel the peace forever but I always fall to temptation and regain my sinful ways. :😦
 
Yes at least once a week and more often if my sins so require. I just feel the need to throw myself before christs and beg his forgiveness as well as a need to be clean.

As others have said if I wasn’t such a sinner I wouldn’t feel such a draw to confess.
 
Yes, there are times I feel drawn to go to Confession. I have to say for those who have jobs that require weekend work, that Saturday morning and/or early afternoon times one day a week is not always something you can do. I am not the type who will make an appointment outside the confession time. Its easier for me to go when there are others waiting, and I try to not be the first in line most of the time.

But yes, the burden is lifted after Confession. Not sure why the lines for Communion are so long but yet the last time I went to Confession, there were no more than 12 people there waiting alongside me.
 
Granted, I’m a new Catholic, but I truly am drawn to reconciliation. It is amazing to me that we carry such weights and He forgives them. I truly feel forgiven for the first time in my life, and was/have been able to give up a guilt I carried for about 20 years. I love confession.
