**We can receive God’s instructions and special revelations whichever way God wants to give them to us.

FOR EXAMPLE:

We feel God’s gift of faith, special revelations, love, in our hearts and our spirits.

We have “Unconditional BELIEF in what God says.”

We have “Unconditional TRUST in God.”

We have “Unconditional LOVE for God and for others,” we have incredible power to

proclaim the Gospel to everyone.

The Holy Spirit is burning in our hearts, we have incredible joy, we know we are God’s children.

We have a thanks-full heart for God for our salvation and we have faith to believe it.-

Without faith it is impossible to please God.

The Gospel which was dry before comes alive and lives in our hearts.

We start to pry in the spirit, in a new tongues. – It is a spiritual gift, not a condition to have salvation.

Then we can be sure we have God’s special revelation because this is one of God’s

special revelation and we can be certain of an absolute that we are God’s children.

The charismatic Catholics call this gift of God “Baptism of the Holy Spirit.” – Most of the

charismatic Catholic is recipient of this gift.

When I received this gift, two weeks I cried from joy. – Not all the time.

Of course we can have God’s special revelation that we are God’s children many other

different ways as well.

AN IMPORTANT WARNING FOR ALL OF US! – 1 Cor.11:27;**

God doesn’t want that the reprobates who are among us (1 John 2:19) to participate in the Eucharist.

We all should know our standing before we partake in the Eucharist! – There are two

possibilities: We are God’s children or we are reprobates among God’s children.

So, in 2 Cor.13:5-6 God has given us a COMMAND: 2 Cor.13:5-6; (Ignatius Catholic Study Bible)

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. TEST YOURSELVES.

Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? – unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

I hope YOU WILL FIND OUT that we have not failed. End quote.

When God has given the command to his children to do the test, God has also given his children the ability to do the test.

For example of a test: – Test can be done many different ways.

TEST AS FOLLOWS

John 5:24; (Ignatius Catholic Study Bible)

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me, HAS

EVERLASTING LIFE; he does NOT come into judgment, but has passed FROM DEATH to LIFE.”

1 John 5:13; (Ignatius Catholic Study Bible)

“I write this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may KNOW that

you have eternal life.”

Without being God’s children we could not believe the above word of God.

If we believe the above word of God we are God’s children/his elect.

If we don’t believe the above word of God, (we have no faith in the word of God, the line of

communication between God and us is still broken) we are reprobates among God’s children.

I don’t think that is the personal revelation Trent was referring to. I believe they were speaking about a private revelation or a vision of a specific thing. An example would be when Paul was near his death and given a knowledge of the outcome of his journey and martyrdom.

God is good. I am His child. It is certinly a possibility and I would never presume. Today, I am confident I will see His face. However, the road to perdition is wide, and I can certainly be on that trail… However, let me quote Arya’s dancing master from Game of Thrones, “What do we say to Death, little one? Not today” 🙂

**Blessings Rcwitness,

I believe you are correct.

I speaking too personal private revelations and visions that God given to us privately. – Special revelations and visions.

If we are God’s children via our spirits we have a permanent open line communication

with God. – We permanently receive God’s leading instructions and his different special

private revelations and private visions.

For example: When I have received visions, at the same time I always received the

interpretation of the visions as well.

What do you think Rcwithess of the following test?

**Blessings Ajcstr,

You don’t want to be a reprobate because God drawing you to the Lord Jesus Christ. – John 6:44.

If you want to be a good disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ you must have a MEGA faith in

God and in His Word, and you must study it and you must know it and love it! – The Holy

Spirit will teach you all things, guides you into all truth and gives you understanding and

build you up. – John 14:17, 26; John 16:13-15.

If we reading the Word of God the Word of God will BUILD US UP.

The Lamb’s Supper by Scott Hahn Page 48

Quote: One of the great Scripture scholars of the early church, Origen (third century), urged

Christians TO RESPECT CHRIST’S PRESENTS IN THE GOSPEL as they RESPECT

HIS PRESENCE IN THE HOST.

“You who are accustomed to take part in the divine mysteries know, when you receive the

body of the Lord, how you protect it with all caution and veneration lest any small part fall

from it, lest anything of the consecrated gift be lost.

For you believe, and correctly, that you are answerable if anything falls from there by neglect.

But if you are so careful to preserve His body, and rightly so, HOW DO YOU THINK THAT

THERE IS LESS GUILT TO HAVE NEGLECTED GOD’S WORD THAT TO HAVE

NEGLECTED HIS BODY?” End quote.

It is common knowledge among Christians that we are Catholics far the most Bible

illiterates among all Christian groups.

I believe WE ARE GUILTY OF NEGLECTING THE WORD OF GOD.

**CATHOLIC SENSIBILITY, DEI VERBUM 21

Quote: The Church has always VENERATED the divine Scriptures JUST AS she

VENERATED the body of the Lord, since, especially in the sacred liturgy, she unceasingly

receives and offers to the faithful THE BREAD OF LIFE from the table of BOTH of GOD’S

WORD and of CHRIST’S BODY.

For in the sacred books, the Father who is in heaven meets His children with great love

and speaks with them; and THE FORCE AND POWER IN THE WORD OF GOD IS SO

GREAT THAT IT IS STANDS AS THE SUPPORT AND ENERGY OF THE CHURCH,

THE STRINGS OF FAITH for Her (children), THE FOOD OF THE SOUL, THE PURE

AND EVERLASTING SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL LIFE.

“For the WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND ACTIVE” (Hebr.4:12) and it HAS THE POWER

TO BUILD YOU UP and give you your heritage among all those who are sanctified. (Acts 20:32) End quote.

THE SCRIPTURES are referred to as the “BREAD OF LIFE” in direct association with a

reference to the Eucharist.

Please see: John 1:1; Matt.4:4; Luke 4:4.

We have access and we are able to eat the “BREAD OF LIFE” in TWO ways: The Church

offers the faithful the bread of life FROM THE EUCHARISTIC table of BOTH of GOD’S

WORD and CHRIST’S BODY.

When in faith, we are READING or HEARING the Word of God we consuming the BREAD

OF LIFE, in which He (Jesus), Himself is consumed and we unite ourselves to Christ.

THE CATHOLIC UNDERSTANDING OF THE BIBLE by Fr. John Harden SJ.

Quote: “The Scriptures are holy because their main author is the all-holy God. But they

are also holy because they are able to sanctify those who READ the Bible as NO OTHER

LITERATURE in the world is capable of doing.

St. Thomas does not hesitate to speak of the Scriptures as a KIND OF SACRAMENT.

SIMULAR to what happens when we receive BAPTISM or the EUCHARIST.

The same Holy Spirit who first inspired the Bible CONTINUES TO ENLIGHTEN those who

now READ the Bible.”

When in faith, READING or HEARING the Word of God we are consuming the BREAD

OF LIFE, in which He (Jesus), Himself is consumed and we unite ourselves to Christ.

[CCC 108]; Still, the Christian faith is not a “religion of the book.”

Christianity is a religion of the “Word” of God, “not a written and mute word, but incarnate and living.”

If the Scriptures are not remain a dead letter, Christ, the eternal Word of the living God,

must, through the Holy Spirit, “open [our] minds to understand the Scriptures.”

**Blessings Binto,

I have a good news for you Binto. 🙂

FIRST AN ANALIZE OF YOUR POST.

I am His child. – This is a faith what please God.

It is certainly a possibility and I would never presume. – Binto, your sentence destroyed your faith.

Today, I am confident I will see His face. – This is a faith what please God.

The road to perdition is wide, and I certainly be on that trial. – Your sentence destroyed your faith again.

Probably your post meant to be a literature, I just couldn’t resist not to analyze it.

The following teaching of the RCC gives you a PERMANENT confidence

and you never have to fear of the wide road of perdition and hell.

The Catholic Church affirms predestination as a *DE FIDE *

Dogma (the highest level of binding theological certainty).

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA

THE CATHOLIC DOGMA. – The predestination of the elect

Consequently, the whole future membership of heaven, down to its minutest details, has

been IRREVOCABLY FIXED FROM ALL ETERNITY. Nor could it be otherwise. For if it

were possible that a predestined individual should after all be CAST INTO HELL or that

one not predestined should in the end REACH HEAVEN, then God would have been

MISTAKEN in his foreknowledge of future events; He would NO LONGER be omniscient.

God’s unerring foreknowledge and foreordaining is designated in the Bible by the beautiful

figure of the “Book of Life” (liber vitæ, to biblion tes zoes). This book of life is a list which

contains the names of ALL THE ELECT and admits NEITHER ADDITIONS NO ERASURES.

(2) The second quality of predestination, the DEFINITENESS of the number of the elect,

follows NATURALLY from the first. For if the eternal counsel of God regarding the

predestined is UNCHANGEABLE, then the number of the predestined must likewise be

UNCHANGEABLE and DEFINITE, subject NEITHER to ADDITIONS nor to

CANCELLATIONS. Anything indefinite in the number would eo ipso imply a lack of

certitude in God’s knowledge and would DESTROY His omniscience.

Let me try this:

If I watch a movie, the ending is already decided, nothing I do as I watch the movie can change either the ending or any detail in it. After I watch it I know the ending and if I watch it again, the characters will do the same things and I know what the outcome will be.

But when I am half way through, I have no idea what is going to happen next even though it has already been determined by the people that made the movie.

I am at a certain point in my life, I’m still in the “movie”. God is outside of time so he already knows every twist and turn I will take.

Saying that I don’t have assurance about my own personal salvation does not in any way change the fact that God knows, and he knew me before I was created.

**Blessings Ajcstr,

Your examples are excellent.

At the moment I have time only for a short answer, but I will explain every sentence.

determined by God as follows:

The Catholic Church affirms predestination as a DE FIDE

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA

THE CATHOLIC DOGMA. – The predestination of the elect

**And we decide the twist and turns of our “movie” the way we choose to co-operate with

God’s actual grace or we chose to co-operate with the spirit of the fear of hell of slavery as follows:**

CONDITIONS THAT OUR WORKS (OUR DEEDS) COUNT FOR ANYTHING

Conditions MUST BE PRESENT to make SUPERNATURAL MERIT possible.

**The meritorious work must be morally good, that is, in accordance with the moral law in

its object, intent, and circumstances. **

**It MUST be done FREELY, WITHOUT any EXTERNAL COERCION or INTERNAL NECESSITY. **

It MUST be SUPERNATURAL, that is, AROUSED and ACCOMPANIED by ACTUAL GRACE, and proceeding from a SUPERNATURAL motive.

**Quote: “The essence of supernatural love is unselfishness—doing something NOT

LOVE for the other person, whether that person is God or one of our fellow human beings

out of the love of God.

This is THE ONLY KIND** **of love that ultimately pleases God and therefore the ONLY

KIND that ultimately gets us a reward IN heaven.” **End quote. Emphasize mine.

**During the “movie” of our life; If we co-operate with God’s actual grace we enter heaven with abundant rewards.

If we co-operate with the spirit of the fear of hell of slavery, we enter heaven grace

STRAW, REJECTED BY GOD AND GOES UP IN SMOKE AT THE JUDGMENT OF OUR

WORKS, (1 Cor.3:11-15) and we will enter heaven without any rewards.

As you see Ajcstr, the end of the “movie” of our life is determined by God, but we decide

the details, twist and turns the “movie” of our life from our baptism until the end.

Do you ever think that you may not make it to Heaven based on the tenants of your Religion, or are you sure that you will go to Heaven?
For Baha’is heaven and hell are conditions of the soul rather than geographical locations… Heaven means being near to God while hell means being distant or alienated from God.

**Blessings Ajcstr,

As I have promised I answer your post again.

I don’t repeat what I have already written, but my answer based on those RCC teachings.

I like your example because our life is like a movie.

In particular from our baptism until we die.

In the life of our movie one of the most crucial thing we have to know: Are we genuine

Christians or we are only imitations of the genuine Christians, meaning; we are only

reprobates among the Christians and we end up in hell.

The Trent as I have proved earlier in one of my post # 256 has given us the

green light that we can know we are God’s elect.

According to the Scripture, we not only can know it but WE MUST KNOW we are

God’s elect or reprobates.

AN IMPORTANT WARNING FOR ALL OF US! – 1 Cor.11:27;

God doesn’t want the reprobates who are among us (1 John 2:19) to participate in the Eucharist.

We all should know our standing before we partake in the Eucharist! – There are two

possibilities: We are God’s children or we are reprobates among God’s children.

So, in 2 Cor.13:5-6 God has given us a COMMAND

2 Cor.13:5-6; (Ignatius Catholic Study Bible)

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. TEST YOURSELVES.

Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? – unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

I hope YOU WILL FIND OUT that we have not failed.

Continue**

**When God has given the command to his children to do the test, God has also given His

children the ability to do the test and to KNOW THE OUTCOME of the test.

– WE WOULD

HAVE HUNRED EXCUSES WHY CAN’T WE BELIEVE IT.

If we have SRONG genuine faith to believe John 5:24; 2 Cor.13:5-6; 1 John 5:13; Rom.11:29; etc.,

according to the test we are God’s elect.

If we have excuses why can’t we believe these Words of God, we have no faith in the word of God.

We all know what this means, 2 Cor.4:3-4 clearly explains it.

Even if we have failed the test, would be foolish to accuse God that He has given us a

command to do the test and He has failed to give us the ability to do the test and to know

the test result.

If we have not failed the test, then we should know we are God’s elect

and at our baptism we had a done deal.

The end of the movie of our life is heaven, and we can go on to do supernatural works to

the Glory of God, not for our salvation. – Which is God’s free gift.

Ajcstr you are saying you have no assurance of your salvation.

The truth is, you don’t know the assurance of jour salvation because so far you disobeyed

God, by probably didn’t do the test that you are God’s elect or a reprobate, there is no third possibility.

According to RCC teaching, every member of the entire human race belongs one of the

two groups, God’s elect or reprobate.

There is no other possibility. – According to God’s COMMAND we must test which group

we belong to!

It is VERY SIMPLE, our salvation is God’s FREE gift, received by faith.

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. – Rom.11:29.

Ajcstr you must have STRNG faith to believe the Word of God.

If we are once elect, we are always elect, it is impossible to lose it. – This is *DE FIDE *

Catholic Dogma.

If someone is a reprobate, he is a reprobate from all eternity and will be a reprobate to all

eternity. – Never was God’s elect and never will be.

If we have STRONG faith in the Word of God, we MUST know who we are.

We are elects of God and our gift of salvation is IRREVOCABLE!!!

The movie of the end of our life is heaven. - If we don’t know it we don’t know the Scripture

and we don’t know the RCC teaching on predestination of the elect.

2 Peter 1: Symeon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have received a faith of equal value to ours through the righteousness of our God and savior Jesus Christ:
2 may grace and peace be yours in abundance through knowledge* of God and of Jesus our Lord. The Power of God’s Promise.
3 His divine power has bestowed on us everything that makes for life and devotion, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and power.
4 Through these, he has bestowed on us the precious and very great promises, so that through them you may come to share in the divine nature, after escaping from the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire.
5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, virtue with knowledge, 6 knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with devotion, 7 devotion with mutual affection, mutual affection with love.
8 If these are yours and increase in abundance, they will keep you from being idle or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 Anyone who lacks them is blind and shortsighted, forgetful of the cleansing of his past sins. 10 Therefore, brothers, be all the more eager to make your call and election firm, for, in doing so, you will never stumble. 11 For, in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.
.
12 Therefore, I will always remind you of these things, even though you already know them and are established in the truth you have. 13 I think it right, as long as I am in this “tent,”* to stir you up by a reminder, 14 since I know that I will soon have to put it aside, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me.15 I shall also make every effort to enable you always to remember these things after my departure. 16 We did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that unique declaration came to him from the majestic glory, “This is my Son, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”18 We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain. 19 Moreover, we possess the prophetic message that is altogether reliable. You will do well to be attentive to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Know this first of all, that ***there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation,
***21 for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God. (emphasis mine)

We shouldn’t presume we know our final state of grace, or substitute ourselves for the judge. But we should have a clear conscience, faith in His promise, be in a right standing before Him, and have His confidence in our present state. This is based on love and humility, while uncertainty is based on doubt, fear and shame.
**Blessing Rcwitness,

It is a good post. Goes straight into to the heart of the matter.

Many Christians are greatly staggering with the above issues.

THE MAIN ISSUES ONE BY ONE
  1. We shouldn’t presume we know our final grace. – (We might end up in heaven or end up in hell).
  2. We should have a clear conscience, faith in His promise. – (We are end up in heaven).
  3. Be in a right standing before Him. Have His confidence in our present state, based on
love and humility. – (We are on the way to heaven at the present state but we might end

up in hell at the end).
  1. Uncertainty is based on doubt, fear and shame. – And might add, lack of knowledge.
LET’S EXAMINE THE ABOVE ISSUES ONE BY ONE
  1. WE SHOULD NOT PRESUME WE KNOW OUR FINAL GRACE.
(We might end up in heaven or end up in hell).
The Trent has given us the green light that we can know our final grace.

The word of God commands us to find out our present standing. (If we are elect once we

are always elect, election cannot be lost). – John 5:24; 1 John 5:13; 2 Cor.13:5-6; Rom.11:29; 1 Cor.3:11-15; etc.

If we don’t know our present and final grace that leads us into the greatest

UNCERTAINTY which without fail cause us doubt fear and shame, steals our faith and

our supernatural works.

Conclusion: The GREATEST enemy of our Christian life is uncertainty which cause

faithlessness and fear of hell, this faithlessness and fear makes our works energized by

the spirit of slavery.

Matt.7:16; “You will know them by their fruits.” – Not the RCC (predestination of the elect)

or the Word of God (John 5:24; 2 Cor.13:5-6) stealing our faith and certainty and trying to

make us to live our Christian life in fear and doubt but the inside enemies of the Christianity. – Matt. 7:15.

Matt.13:24-30; 36-40; 2 Cor.11:13-15; 2 Pet.2:1-3; etc. explains the inside enemies of the Christianity.
  1. WE SHOULD HAVE A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, FAITH IN HIS PROMISE.
(We are end up in heaven).

Continue**

**3. BE IN A RIGHT STANDING BEFORE HIM. HAVE HIS CONFIDENCE IN OUR

PRESENT STATE, BASED ON LOVE AND HUMILITY.

(We are on the way to heaven at the present state but we might end up in hell at the end).

Rom.8:14-16;
For as MANY AS are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

For you did NOT receive the spirit of bondage again to FEAR, but you received the

SPIRIT OF ADOPTION by whom we cry out “ABBA, FATHER.”

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”

If we are elect at the present state, we will die as God’s elect at the end. Election can not be lost.
  1. UNCERTAINTY IS BASED ON DOUBT, FEAR AND SHAME. – And might add lack of knowledge.
CONDITIONS THAT OUR WORKS (OUR DEEDS) COUNT FOR ANYTHING

Conditions MUST BE PRESENT to make SUPERNATURAL MERIT possible.

The meritorious work must be morally good, that is, in accordance with the moral law in its

Church (Denzinger 1576, 1582).

JUSTIFICATION IN CATHOLIC TEACHING by Jimmy Akin

Quote: “The essence of supernatural love is unselfishness—doing something NOT

BECAUSE IT WILL HELP US SOMEHOW, but because we want to do it out of SHEER

LOVE for the other person, whether that person is God or one of our fellow human beings

out of the love of God.

This is THE ONLY KIND of love that ultimately pleases God and therefore the ONLY

KIND that ultimately gets us a reward IN heaven.” End quote. Emphasize mine.

If we live our Christian life in uncertainty, fear and doubt we can NEVER be qualified to do

supernatural works because our work instead of actual grace energized by the spirit of

slavery, the fear of hell and OUR WORKS REJECTED BY GOD.

THE SCRIPTURES are referred to the “BREAD OF LIFE” for the readers as Eucharist.

– John 1:1; Matt.4:4; Luke 4:4.

We have access and we are able to eat the “BREAD OF LIFE” in TWO ways: The Church

offers the faithful the bread of life FROM THE EUCHARISTIC table of BOTH of GOD’S

WORD and CHRIST’S BODY.
