Do you feel that the homosexual equality/rights movement is targeting Christians?

Homosexuality has always been condemned by Catholicism. It is considered a grave sin never to be tolerated. So, by definition, the attempts at normalising homosexual behaviour necessitates an attack on Catholicism, if not Christianity itself. The homosexual equality and equal rights movement has sought more than non-discrimination and has striven for equality where it can never exist. They are destroying the very foundations of western civilisation. Revcent cases in Britain drive home just how far this reverse discrimination has gone.
Yes! This is NOT a civil rights movement, it is a moral revolution in disguise.

Agreed, Grace, but I have to say, i.m.h.o, hardly very “disguised.” 😉

Looking beyond the Movement’s human actors,
the homosexual rights movement,
like the pro-Abortion movement,
is a coordinated, direct Demonic Frontal Attack on
the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit.
I would agree with this statement. Still, as phrased by the OP, I say no. Most of the people involved in the homosexual political front are not out to get Christians. That is silly. Some feel that they are persecuted by Christians, and they fight back- that is where you get the angrier rhetoric cited by some here as evidence that they are attacking us. There are notable exceptions, but the movement is made up of people of all kinds, most of whom have not animosity towards Christianity and many of whom identify as Christians themselves. I like the comparison to the pro-abortion movement. Masses of people, who have bought into the devils lies, support these things because they think it is the right thing to do. It is a moral battle.

I think the problem, though, is that their leaders are virulently anti-Christian, at least the ones I have been exposed to. Remember, also, the homosexual rights movement and the militant atheist movement are largely overlapping and, at least here, have much of the same leadership and have agreed to support each others’ agendas.

Especially any time the Catholic Church appears in a public forum, the atheists/homosexual activists are there to try disrupt the speakers or shout them down.

Well in all honesty the Catholic Church does the same thing to the activists. Both of them do it, each side just gets mad at the other because they differ in opinions.

No. They don’t behave at all in the same way. Homosexualists go and cause trouble at churches and cathedrals which is wrong.

This needs to be seen to be believed. Video of a lesbian/feminist demonstration at a Catholic cathedral. Watch it and then tell me that “in all honesty the Catholic Church does the same thing.”

Courgeous Catholics Defend Cathedral

Showdown at the Lyon Cathedral
Approximately 200 young Catholics came to the defense of the Cathedral of Lyons, France, during a “kiss-in” protest held by homosexuals in front of the building last month.

That’s not what I was speaking of. I was speaking of debates about the subject. It is possible to be meaner with words than with actions, and even if you think what you believe is right others don’t. And they don’t want the rights they want ignored just because the Church doesn’t like it.

I’m definitely not saying that some activists go way too far (like the video you linked) because I agree with you there. Most don’t go that far; it’s the extremists around the internet and on television that we end up seeing unfortunately.
