Same here for the sorrowful mysteries…and for the others, I often think of scenes from the movie “Jesus of Nazareth” (Zefferelli), while meditating on verses from Scripture for that mystery.
Ditto. I actually like the Annunciation, the Visitation and the Canaa scenes of the movie very much.

Something to think about…

If, during prayer, you do nothing but bring your mind back from distraction, even if you must do so again and again…it is time very well spent.
St. Thomas Aquinas

p.s. anyone have the actual quote? the above is from memory.

Some of them are difficutl for me to picture; those that emphasize more spiritual miracles. Like transfiguration and transubstantiation (nothing really changes in the appearance there) of the Luminous mysteries, and some of the Glorious mystersies (the Ascension, the Summption, the crowning of Mary in heaven…who knows what heaven looks like). It is better for me to think about the lessons they tell me, or the virtues they embody, which I should more actively pursuing. I don’t think the physical representation is that important, but it is the ideas behind the stories that should be the focus.
