Do you have a crucifix above your bed

Not above because that would be the window at the head of my bed.
I do have one on the side wall so in the morning, when I open my eyes, the first thing I see is Jesus.
It helps me remember to thank him for the day.
I have lots of little reminders at different stations in the house to remind me to say those short little prayers durring the day.
Like a little stuff lamb on top of the larder, a crucifix over top the kitchen doorway, a brown scapular hangs on the inside of my front door, and so on, you get the idea LOL
Well… it works for me 🙂
 
On the wall by the foot of my bed so that I can always see it (at least when I have my glasses on!). 🙂

In my classroom, I have a crucifix on the front wall & the back wall so that my students AND I can always see Christ on the cross.
 
Yes, I do. My non-Catholic DIL gave it to me.

My dad has the cross from my mother’s casket above the bed. My DIL came over one Saturday with a bag full of stuff she found at a garage sale. She was very excited about the pretty cross she brought me. She had no idea it was from a casket, a stranger’s casket at that. There was a St. Dympna medal and since my DIL has some mental health issues, I suggested she wear it and talk to St. Dympna when she was feeling bad. She googled her and is still wearing the medal.
 
I have a crucifix that stands up, and it is on the nightstand part of our bed, above our heads. The crucifix is between two statues that stand, one of St. Joseph holding the Christ Child, and the other of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
 
No, I have a small standing crucifix on my nightstand. Hubby, being very lapsed, is not over-fond of seeing Jesus hanging on the cross.
 
Yes, I have a sick call crucifix above my bed that I picked up at a Salvation Army store for $1.00!!! Similar ones to the one that I have retail for 80+ new.

Then I have a small San Damiano Crucifix that I had from my college room above my door.

I have a standing crucifix on the chest next to my bed.

I am going to put a china cross with a baptismal promise (we are all of one baptism) overour bed tomorrow. I thought it would be fitting as my husband is baptised, but not a practicing Christian.

I’ve never thought to put a crucifix above my bed? It this a tradition?
 
Yes and the rosary is under my pillow. And right behind me while sleeping, i got an army of rosaries in storage boxes in pouches and plastic zipperbags.
