Do you have a Daily Commitment prayer?

Hi brothers and sisters,

So, you know how we have in the Catholic faith a great Statement of Faith, like the Apostles Creed? We recite it to reaffirm, remember, and recommit our beliefs to ourselves and to God.

But is there a Statement of Commitment that is within the treasury of the Church, where we reaffirm, remember, and recommit our actions to ourselves and to God?

For example, is there something like:

“Today,
I commit to live for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I commit to live in faith, hope, and love.
I commit to forgive those who have sinned against me.
I commit to…”, etc.?

Are there any official Statements of Commitment? Are there ones within any of the religious orders like the Franciscans, Dominicans, or others? Or are there any that you personally do as a devotion?

I consecrate myself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary daily.

Being familiar with St. Louis Marie de Montfort’s “True Devotion to Mary”; and also “33 Days to Morning Glory” has helped me a lot!

There is a lot in those books that would inspire our thoughts, words, and actions.

I’ve just recently finished reading Montfort’s, “The Secret of the Rosary”, and I loved it. I am trying to get in a good habit of praying the Rosary but I still need to work on it.

I am curious about what the teaching is regarding the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. What is the specific prayer that you pray to reconsecrate yourself? Did Montfort adhere to the doctrines of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary?

Also, I am open to more contributions on what your Daily Commitment prayers are. Thanks!
