Do you have a Divine Mercy Image at home?

Yes.

I am off to Mass twice for Sunday. It’s Sunday here already.

First Mass is to help create a cacophony of suspect song, second is for the Divine Mercy Mass

No, you do not have to pray the novena to get either Jesus’ graces or the indulgence. It’s just something Jesus likes for us to do.

Also, if you missed a day or two, just catch up two days at once or just continue it on a day when you have time. Jesus understands. Just get to the end of it however you can.

Thanks, Bear. I haven’t prayed any of the novena, so I think it’s hopeless at this point. There is no such thing as “when have time” right now. I’ll offer it up, meet the other requirements for the indulgence, pray the novena when I’m on vacation a couple of weeks from now and commit to better preparing for Divine Mercy Sunday 2019. I handed in my resignation from parish service on Palm Sunday and will be replaced by the end of November, so this year’s obstacles won’t exist next year.

God bless you. :hugs:

Yes. Our parish gave out 8 x 10 images a few years ago along with blessed prayer cards.

Ours is on our console table as soon as you enter through our front door.

Yes, a Devine Mercy Image on my wall and I have been making a novena to the Devine Mercy in preparation for Devine Mercy Sunday. Having lived a rather sinful life until three years ago I’m in need of all the Mercy I can get.

I have a holy card on the fridge and a little pin that I have on my kitchen curtains

I’d say not hopeless UUAA your heart is in the right place and Jesus knows your intent.
God bless.

I have noticed that - that particular image of Jesus -
is forefront - at many churches - near to the altar.
At my current church - it’s by the fancy box - where the Eucharist is kept -
( Near the candle, in the red glass )

Quick question - does one have to attend a specific Divine Mercy Sunday Mass in order to receive the blessing? Or is one required to receive Holy Communion worthily (with Confession and the intention of receiving said graces)?

No, For what Jesus has promised us

Communion, confession, venerate the painting, do acts of mercy. And
Complete trust in Jesus.

Just finished up the Novena this morning.
It’s good to finish a devotion on time for a change.
I’ve been behind and having to catch up on everything since I got interrupted by a life event.

Now I have to finish up the 33-day renewal of Marian consecration that got derailed by same life event about 10 days in.
I have 8 days and 8 Rosaries left to pray, was hoping to finish by tomorrow so the reconsecration could be on Divine Mercy Sunday. Not a Marian feast, but Mary is always telling us about God’s mercy so it seems like it would be okay.

Interesting enough, I do not…But I have a beautiful 8 1/2 x 11 prominently displayed in my office at work.

Thank goodness he does, since what I intend often doesn’t correspond at all with what I actually do. ☹️

By “hopeless,” I meant that the amount of free time I have between now and the end of the day tomorrow is smaller than what it would take to pray the entire novena. Even staying off CAF wouldn’t help.

A little holy prayer card with the image next to my crucifix I pray in front of in my bedroom.

I have the traditional image, framed, and also the Divine Mercy icon from the Printery House.

Are those the little microprinter thingie mababobs?

Excellent pic.

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

This is ours on our mantle, within a beautiful image of St. Faustina we received after the birth of our daughter (whose middle name is Faustina!)

I have a holy card that I have no clue where it came from, but I keep it next to my votive candles and rosaries.

I really want to get a statue of the Divine Mercy image I saw, but it’s currently out of stock (and I lost my job, so…).
