Do you have a Facebook page?

Yes.

It’s the easiest way to communicate with my scattered flock of kids.😛

No. I haven’t ruled it out definitively, but I’m not at all convinced so far.

I was hoping exoflare would say, “Take a wild guess.” 😃

No I don’t and never will have a facebook page… I don’t bother with it at all… or Twitter. Im content without them 🙂

FB is a flipping waste of time, as far as I am concerned.

Can anyone give an example of a response that would fall under “other”?

I do, though I think it’s kind of a pain sometimes–it increases my junk email. I keep it because of scattered relatives and friends, for sharing photos.

Yes, I have a facebook page, I use it to keep in touch with my cousins, share photos with them. I also have a number of Catholic friends from another forum (we’ve met a couple of times) who share inspirational pictures and quotes.

There are also a few friends from school (going back more than 30 years!) and it’s nice to keep in touch.

I’ve even got my Mum to sign up, and she likes looking at everyone’s pictures.

I do have far too many pictures of cats on my timeline though!

Yes, I do and I really enjoy it as I can see grandchildren who are out of town, old friends and their children and grandchildren, funny cartoons, religious posts and links I might now ever see, etc.

I have a FB page. For me, it is extremely beneficial. Certain activities require networking with large groups of people, and a network like FB helps do just that. For example, I’m a martial artist, and have a significant number of martial artists on my friend’s list. If there is an event, someone can just set up an event and notify everyone from all of the various schools. What used to take days to notify people now takes the press of a button.

Same with musicians. Professional musicians deal with large networks of other musicians, fans, etc., and FB is a lifesaver when it comes to this.

Yes I have one, and I think it’s wonderful, even though some people can take it too far.

Two Facebook pages? 😉

I have one. I don’t have Pintrest or Myspace, though. I’m thinking of getting a Twitter account to keep up with the Holy Father’s messages there.

Yes, I seldom post anything myself, but I am able to read my grandchildren’s page. I feel much closer to them, because I can keep up with their activities, games, etc. I love the pictures they post such as prom pictures.

I totally understand how Facebook can be quite useful, but I have decided that if the saints lived without it, so can I. 😃
Also, CAF is kind of like a Catholic version of Facebook, so I just come on here. 😉

Oh, okay 🙂 I think I see the sort of thing you’re driving at. I was thinking of it more like the following, hence my confusion.
Like ‘‘I had one, but I don’t use it anymore’’

If you had one, don’t use it anymore but didn’t close it, then you still have it. That would fall under “yes.”

If you had one, didn’t use it anymore so you closed it, then you don’t have it anymore. That would fall under “no.”

or ‘‘I want one, but don’t have it’’
If you don’t have one, regardless of whether or not you want one you still don’t have one. That would fall under “no.”
Don’t mind me…
