We have an amazing priest in our parish. He has always made his homilies so meaningful and enjoyable to listen to! He was recently appointed Moderator of the Curia and Vicar General of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, so he will soon be leaving us and we will be assigned a new priest. Prayers would be greatly appreciated in this time of transition in our parish! Thanks!

YES !!! :clapping: :dancing: :bounce:

I actually go to a couple of parishes in my town (Latin mass at one and OF at my home parish). We are extremely blessed in my diocese and have many really good priests (and an awesome bishop). 👍

We have three excellent priests in our Parish.

But my favorite is still the oldest–who was, as I understand it, a relative late-comer to the Priesthood. He brought me in to the Catholic Church. I believe I would die for that man.

We have one priest, a wonderful one.

Twenty-plus years ago, we had a priest who was VERY traditional. Communion rails stayed in til the 90’s, no handshake at peacetime, etc…People griped and moaned about how we needed someone else.

Finally it happened. But some of the parishoners ran him out on a rail. He was MUCH more modern. He received so many letters of complaint, he started hanging them up on a bulletin board outside his office. This same priest is building a new building at his current parish, a “monolithic dome” type structure.

Finally, the Bishop moved him elsewhere. We went about a year without a priest. (I suspect the Bishop was teaching a bit of a lesson). Our latest priest has really revived our parish. We’ve built a perpetual adoration chapel, and he also champions the LifeTeen program, and really works hard with the kids.

He is active in all aspects of parish life, and seems to have boundless energy.

There will always be complainers, but by and large things are really hoppin’ here 👍

We are blessed with three wonderful traditional priests at our parish, Deo Gratias. We are also blessed with a wonderful Bishop, Archbishop Burke. I have read many stories about illicit and invalid liturgies and other abuses by priests who think they are making improvements to the Mass, but thankfully we have not encountered anything like that so far. I know we have been blessed in that regard.

YES!!! We have three in our parish and they are AWESOME!!!
Each has a different strength, and a different appeal to the flock. We’ve been really fortunate though, because even when we had only one priest in residence, those that stepped in on Sundays were, for the most part, very good as well.

Pray for your priests!!! After all, where would we be without them?

We have 2 excellent Priests at our parish. Our Pastor is from the Institute of Christ the King and he is wonderful. Our priest in residence is also a college professor, and his sermons are always so educational. Both are also wonderful in the Confessional and encourage us to make use of the sacrament both from the pulpit and in the confessional.

We are VERY lucky at our parish.

Though he is not in our parish, there is a wonderful priest (ordained just one year) not too far from us. He is very involved with the youth of the diocese. Also, at every diocese function we go to he is there. I don’t know him personally, but my teen age kids do and talk about his devotion and his expectations of them as catholics.
I foresee awesome things for him in his future as a priest and HOPE he encourages young men to becoming priests.
