It is a very eerie feeling for me to be driving around ANYPLACE and realize I am the only one in traffic with a Pro Life Bumper Sticker on my car. Same for the Church parking lot. Only my lonely one is visible.

How many of you have a Pro Life bumper sticker visible on your car? Why do you, or why don’t you show one?
It doesn’t bother me that I don’t see Pro-Life bumper stickers on cars. However, it would be nice to see a car completely decaled with a Pro-Life theme (I’ve never seen this before). You could also paint your house with a Pro-Life theme, both inside and outside (I’ve never seen this before). As for clothes, you can wear clothes with a Pro-life theme, or you could take a Pro-life bumper sticker and wear it across your chest wherever you go (I’ve never seen this before).

 “Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.” – 1 John 4:7-8

I guess you didn’t think I was being serious. Well, I was (don’t worry, I’ve met others that thought I was being sarcastic when I wasn’t, it’s not a big deal, just a normal example of regular miscommunication). I’ll put it this way: I’m a big fan of a certain college sports team. And it doesn’t bother me that I don’t see bumper stickers of my college team on cars of people that I know that are diehard fans of my college team, and it doesn’t really mean that much to me when I see cars that have a bumper sticker that support my team (even though I used to have one on my car myself back when I was in college there, although I don’t anymore). However, I love it when I see cars completely decaled with a theme in support of my college team (I’ve seen LOTS of cars like this and I love it). I’ve also seen people that paint their house with a theme that represents my college team, and I love seeing this as well. As for clothes, it is very common for me to see people wearing clothes with a theme that supports my college team, and I like seeing it mainly because it gives me a reason to strike up a conversation with them about how our team is doing. As for the bumper sticker across the chest, I’ve seen at least one person doing this regarding my college team, and I loved it.

Put it this way: what would you think if you saw a car completely decaled with a theme in support of your country? You’d like it, wouldn’t you? What would you think if somebody painted their house in a theme in support of your country? You’d like it, wouldn’t you? What would you think if somebody wore clothes with a theme in support of your country? You’d like it, wouldn’t you? What would you think if somebody wore a bumper sticker across their chest in support of your country? You’d like it, wouldn’t you?

I wear pro-life t-shirts and buttons. My car has a couple of the magnets and window signs. So yes I am pro-life and proud of it.

Oh for PalmTrees edification we have pro-life symbols in our yard at home and at camp.👍 So maybe you just have not looked hard enough to find those of us that do so.

We have a pro life bumper stick on our car because both of us READ bumper stickers so we feel others read bumper stickers also.

We need to educate and share with the public - many polls have found that “the more people KNOW about abortion, the less they are for it”. Fr Pavone of Priests for Life says “Until people SEE abortion, people will not object to it”.

I have a pro life website also:
abortion-not.org

It’s educational. Anyway when we got this new car we needed a new bumper sticker so my husband thought of something different which is really pro life and pro family but kind of hits people after they think about it.

You know how some folks today are “childfree by choice”

Here’s the sticker we have on our car:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Here’s our rationale. People today value dogs more than kids. In fact many of those who ARE childfree by choice almost worship their dogs. And dogs today have more rights than the unborn. For example, you cannot kill a dog without getting arrested and yet you can have your unborn baby killed even in the 3rd trimester with society’s blessings because afterall, “babies are messy and noisy and dirty” (a Planned Parenthood slogan). Now imagine if a big group said that about dogs… they would probably be hung or something. We have nothing against dogs but we want people to put things in prospective and we think this “different” sticker might do it.

The idea is that after they find themselves getting annoyed by us saying such a thing, they will, somewhere along the line, realize that saying something like that about kids does NOT annoy them and hopefully will realize the inequality in that.

Our other car had a bunch of pro life stickers on it! You go for it… more people SHOULD express their pro life views… we cannot be afraid… we are fighting against satan and “silence favors the oppressor”

Actually I DID see a car decaled with a pro life theme… I saw it parked at church. More people should be that courageous:

I don’t have one on any of my vehicles only because I don’t like to use bumper stickers. I would definitely put a non-permanent pro-life sticker on, like a window cling-on or something like that. The non-permanence isn’t because I’m afraid I’ll change my mind; I like the stock, ‘clean’ look on a vehicle and the ability to go back to it (or transfer the sticker to another vehicle). Just personal preference.
Same here.
Uhhh, first problem, the paint job solved. Get a magnetic bumper sticker. The2nd “problem”? :rotfl::rotfl:
Second problem is that the bumper is plastic. 😃

I prefer the more subtle approach; simple message, “I am pro-LIFE” or something similar.

But different strokes for different folks. Kudos for those who do it. 👍

Yes, I do have a few stickers on our van. It says “93% of woman regret their abortion”. I also have a “pray to end abortion”.
Besides bumper stickers I love wearing pro-life shirts…I think I have about 15 of them 🙂

Blessings to all!

I have a pro-life bumper sticker on my car. I placed it on the back window. It says, “A nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope”. John Paul II. On my small side rear windows I have the Divine Mercy image of Jesus on a window cling and the other side is a window cling of Saint Michael defeating Satan. I think it is vital to make the image of Jesus visible in this world as much as we still are able. Susan “Jesus I trust in You.”

I have a 15 seater van with 2.
The first says “It’s easy to be pro-choice when you’re not the one being killed”
and “Planned Parenthood. Destroying a generation one baby at a time”
I like the 2nd because it causes a lot of people to ask to explain it so it opens up to conversation.
Also I have the sticker family of myself, my husband and 7 kids. So many like those ones. And I like how they prove we are pro life. And no they are not breeded like rats. 2 are adopted and the rest are spaced by NFP. #7 was born in February and died 2 hours after birth, but he is included as well. We also wear pro life Tshirts and our teenager fights for abstinence and pro life virtues mentioned at her high school to counter the planned parenthood every teen does it use birth control movement at her school. Our 11 year old also has open discussion with classmates about contraception and abortion. The rest are still in the learning and understanding phase, but know what abortion is and will tell others it murders children. We supply bumper stickers at our church as well.

I have two of them on the back bumper, one in the back window and one on the side panel above the gas cap. “No matter how small, a person is a person”, “Diapers are disposal, babies are not, stop abortion”, and “Babies are like flowers, you can never have to many”.

It is fun when a car full of teenagers drive up behind at a stop light and notice the stickers. I’m sure it gives some food for thought.

I know what you mean about being the only one with stickers driving around.
I don’t have one, but I want a pro-life bumper sticker. There are so many good people that are accepting this “choice” stand, that I fell it is important to get the message out that life is prescious and must be protected.

We do - my husband is not a fan of bumperstickers but he agreed that this was one we should display.

We’re fortunate to be in a large parish that is very active in the pro-life movement. We live about four houses away from the local abortion provider (Planned Parenthood) and as I type this, the latest shift of peaceful protesters is arriving. One gal from our parish just parked in front of my house!

We often feel “alone” when driving the streets of our western Washington county but that’s okay - taking a stand for what’s right is usually a lonely stand to take.

I have several magnetic bumper stickers from “prolifebumper.com”. They come in two different sizes. I put two on at a time and change them every once in awhile. Some are subtle and some are definitely not! One that I have on now says " An abortion doesn’t make you UNpregnant, but a mother of a DEAD baby". So far, I have had obvious negative responses to them and obvious positive responses. They honk their horns at me and show a “thumbs up” or a “finger up”. Interestingly enough, it was a man who showed the finger and women who showed the “thumbs up”. I did have a woman use her cellphone camera take a picture of them while we were at a stop light. I couldn’t tell if she was pro or con, though. I have only seen one other car with a pro-life bumper sticker on it in the church parking lot ( and it is a large parish!) and I haven’t seen any on cars just driving around. I have given several of them out to others that wanted one but didn’t know where to get them.

Yes, and no. I have a pro-life plate frame, and a window cling with Blessed Mother Therese’s saying, “It is a poverty for a child to die so that you may live as you wish” (or something to that effect), and I was pleasantly surprised when a guy honked his horn at me and and gave me a thumbs up! I also have a Knights of Columbus magnetic “ribbon” thats pink and blue. I guess I am making a statement!

I do! I have a pink & blue ribbon magnet that says “Life is precious” and has two baby footprints on it. 🙂 I bought it at my local Catholic bookstore.

I only fear the day when I sell the car and cannot take it with me or the bumper sticker finally has worn off. I have searched and searched for the replacement and cannot find one.
Try MakeStickers.com. I did not like any of the pro-life bumper stickers I saw, so I designed my own! This website has pre-made templates and you add your own personal message, you can choose colors and fonts. Very inexpensive, nice quality, fast service.

I selected a picture of a mother holding a baby. The pro-life message I made up for my car is this: “WHAT WOULD MARY DO?”

I have one from Real Catholic TV that says “Obama: Soft on terrorists, tough on fetuses.”
Lets just say it gets the conversation started at the squadron, in a good way, actually, as it makes my pro-abortion co-workers laugh and breaks the ice. Its good to start this type of debate with a smile sometimes. Laughter can be very disarming…

Well, not on my bumper. It’s a sticky on my back windshield with a quote from Mother Teresa.

Yes, I have a bumper sticker with our Pope “Defend Life” and also ‘Choose Life’ license plates for Maryland. I protest on Saturday mornings as often as possible at an Abortion Mill. Fr. Corapi gave a sermon at Notre Dame in Indiana a couple of weeks ago. It starts out…
“The Baby Leapt For Joy In Her Womb…The Baby… NOT abstract Fetal Tissue…The Baby… Leapt For Joy In Her Womb”
This says it all. God Bless
