These are my thoughts, too. Thank you. It makes it sometimes hard to deal with mixed feelings. My ancestors came from four different nations, didn’t shared culture or religion- so I can’t honor them by simply doing what they did before. I rather think of them from time to time when I cook traditional meals, hear music or remember their hardships.
