I am an oblate of a Benedictine community of the Solesmes Congregation: St-Benoît-du-Lac in Quebec. Their OF Mass is a mix of French and Latin: the propers (introit, gradual, alleluia, offertory and communion antiphon) are chanted in Latin; the ordinary (Kyrie, Gloria, etc.) in Greek/Latin, and the rest (EP, collects, universal prayer, readings) in French plainchant. There are also two women’s abbeys that do a full Latin OF Mass at least most of the time: Westfield in Vermont, and Ste-Marie-des-Deux-Montagnes near Montreal. Then of course in France there’s Solesmes, St. Wandrille and no doubt others.
But in parishes, it’s exceedingly rare. Locally, when our schola sings once a month at least the propers and ordinary.
