Do you know people who always want to get "the last word"?

I had to just read the original post…id forgotten if it was serious or not 🙂
 
I think it is, but our attempts at humor show that the OP has a point.

I know it irritates me when someone that is wrong about something gets the last word. In my perfect world, the person that is speaking the truth would get the last word. It’s tough to be a parent and not get the last word, lol!
 
It is! A real challenge in humility.Good humility.Comprimise can be a handy word though

Depends on the conversation and whether it’s online or offline. Offline, I’m content to let others have the final word. When Amazon had their discussion forums, we had some posters who were so negative that it was fun to go in their threads when it got close to that 10,000 post mark and have the last word just so the thread would end on a positive note.😉

Of course, these threads don’t shut like they did in the old CAF.

The last word may not be heard until the end of days!
