Yes, there are people who have this gift. Usually some senior persons who have much experience and if you are lucky enough, you may meet priests who have this gifts. There was one priest, unfortunately he had passed on, who often gave us retreats and seiminars in the past.

It would be helpful to help you in determining whether your gift, direction or messages come from the Holy Spirit or not.

Yes I know a few people with with God’s Grace have the gift in of Discernment of Spirit. All have the sudden knowledge of when they are in the presence of good or evil.
