Do you like anti catholics. / protestants?

Generally no.

I give them the benefit of the doubt, but they always open up as very insulting. I dropped my Saint Michael medal out of my pocket at work. A co-work who claims she’s a doctor of the Prostestant faith (she has no degree or theological schooling whatsoever), saw me drop it and picked it up to hand it back to me. She see’s the medal and ask who it is. I tell her St. Michael and she immediately waves her hand in my face and tells me that
I " don’t need all that stuff " and that St. Michael “isn’t that important”. I merely offer that he is mentioned in the Bible, especially in Revelation and she says that it made no difference because only God exists. My boss (a Baptist minister on weekends) told me that
he doesn’t believe Hell exists or that Lucifer exists at all. He told me God’s light covers everything. I tell him that Christ spoke of Hell more than Heaven and he tells me that
reassuringly that Hell was “only a concept”.

People like that are packing in Protestants on weekends to spew this stuff and people marvel why the world is the way that it is.

Since “Protestantism” is undefinable, “anti-Catholic” is a far better term. In any event, it is more frequently encountered.

They are made in the image and likeness of God, so are worth evangelizing by our prayers and example.

Depends on how vocal they are about it. If they’re constantly attacking religion, I wouldn’t want to be acquaintances with them all that much, but if there’s a respectful “agree to disagree” approach taken, I have no problem with that. Just as an example, my extended family has a few Bible-Christians who do not like the Church. (Did you know we’re told not to read the Bible?) That doesn’t mean I don’t like them because so long as the discussion stays away from religion/politics, we have pretty good times.

Yes, I had a Jehovah’s Witness friend who believed Catholics were not allowed to read the Bible until 1974. I showed her my Catholic bible copyrighted in the 1940’s and with a preface dated 1923 with the pope’s statement encouraging Catholics to read it. But that wasn’t enough to convince her!
