Some Parishes being more poor than others can’t afford the wine needed for larger congregations, for consecration into the Blood of Christ. Both consecrated species host and wine are identically the same in that they incorporate in exacting manner the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ.
I sometimes wonder if the Faithful think that partaking worthily in both species their getting more than some who do not partake in both species. For serious health reasons I cannot partake in wine, the (Blood of Christ). Sometimes I feel this guilt for passing up this wondrous opportunity, others looking at you seemly in judgement.
I’m fully confirmed in Faith that the same affects of the (Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ) are identically the exact same in either species. One neither being greater than the other and the partaking of both species not being greater than one.
