Do you pray the rosary daily?

Every day, morning and night, without fail. I think it was around the time of my confirmation that I started to pray it daily, and I’m 18 now. I pray whichever mysteries I feel like since I always forgot which days of the week or what season are for which mysteries. 😛
I don’t pray daily but it’s something for me to strive for. I usually meditate on the passion since I too, forget which days are which mysteries. I have the Passion mysteries memorized.

I try to pray it just about everyday… but my personality is sactterbrained lol. I’m a sanguine. But I try and pray the Rosary with a spanish catholic program online at midnight every day…But it’s quicker to pray in English lol…

My wife and I pray the Rosary together every night, and I often pray it during Eucharistic Adoration, when I’m in a particularly long confession line, during 40 Days for Life prayer vigils, etc.

Without the Luminous mysteries and at the old pattern it was prayed before the Luminous mysteries were added to the weekly cycle.
Some day i hope to pray the entire rosary in Latin.
Gotcha.

I’m going to start a series on the Latin rosary soon on my blog, which will force me to really understand it and as a result, I expect to develop a more tender devotion. 👍

Awesome! I will fpllow that on your blog. Went to a dominican mass last night and realized during the mass how important it also is to be able to pray in Latin. The slow wake-up call i needed. 🙂

I always try to pray it at least once a day, even if that means getting up a bit earlier before everyone else so that I can really take my time and meditate on each mystery. I feel like I miss something if I don’t get the chance to pray it!

I did, for around 6 months. Wasn’t always beneficial (I think); sometimes caused havoc to my personal sins. 🤷

Yes, I do pray the Rosary every day. I sometimes pray it more than once per day, especially if I have several things to pray for.

Yes, I pray the rosary every evening. More than three sets, I have a lot of intentions to pray for! I feel empty if I do not say the rosary. Sometimes situtations occur, and I can only do oneset.

Peace be with you!
What do you mean by doing more than “three sets”? Three decades or you pray the roasary three times?

No, I do not say the Rosary every day.
I am lucky it I get to say it once a week.
Last Lent, we made a point to say it every Saturday.
However, lately we have been pretty random about when we say it. Sometimes, it is Saturday evening, sometimes Thursday, etc.

.
Faith I pray the whole rosary more than three times a day. When I can’t maybe one or none sometimes

This will become 100% in the not so distant future.

Each Lent season should encourage and motivate all catholics to pray the Rosary on a daily basis.

The Rosary and the Sacraments will be our only life-line when the lines of morality/faith are not only blurred beyond recognition - but obliterated beyond trace.

Then we who are unclear about the need to pray the Rosary on a daily basis will be scrambling to find one and hard pressed to learn how to pray it when we find one.

Create now the habits of reverence and devotion that will be our only weapons when the battle comes to your door step.

Ave Maria, sine macula concepta…ora pro nobis peccatoribus.

I actually prayed the full Rosary for the first time in my life yesterday. You’d think that after nearly 40 years as a cradle Catholic, complete with 12 years of Catholic schools, I’d have done it at least once. It’s not something that was ever stressed at school, although we did study it enough in 3rd or 4th grade to know that it involved saying a lot of prayers. Aside from that one decade we said while studying it, we were never required, or even suggested to say it after that. It also wasn’t something we ever did at home (the only praying we did together growing up was the grace before meals).

I’ve been wanting to say it, especially as a family, but was looking for a way that would make it easier for the whole family to say it together. I downloaded the Kindle book Rosary the other day and it gave me that extra push to try saying it by myself yesterday morning. It wasn’t nearly as dreadful as I thought it would be when I was younger, and it left me feeling pretty good inside. I then had my wife & girls say it with me later that night. We’re now going to try to make it a nightly thing, at least on the nights I don’t work. I’m hoping I can eventually get my wife to pick up the slack on nights when I’m not available.

It is something I want and need to do on a daily basis. Please pray for me that I will have the discipline and resolve to do so… :gopray2:

This is how I came to pray the rosary daily. A few years ago I decided to do it for my Lenten devotion, and just kept going when Lent was over. 😃 I miss days here and there of course, but generally I pray it daily. I find for myself it’s better if I pray it in the morning because by evening I’m too tired to concentrate on it.
