Do you put up any special Easter decorations?

Some people where I live suspend colored plastic eggs from their trees or bushes, and I’ve seen illuminated plastic Easter Bunnies, but not many. Personally, I just get a potted Easter lily and keep it on a table in the living room.

I’ve gotten lucky some years. Aldi’s sometimes carries a Lamb shaped cake. But that’s for the indoors.

Out doors, just a potted lily. 🙂

I’m not too crazy about plastic.

I usually wait to put out any “spring” decor until Easter. 🙂

I will replace the purple cloth on our family prayer table with a white one and have some flowers.

All of my Christmas decorations - which consist of 2 large red bows for the doors - are still up. So maybe I’ll rename them Easter bows. 😃

PS - We live at the dead end of a 1/2 mile long driveway which is, at the moment, blocked by our van stuck in the mud. So no one but us will be seeing whatever decorations we put up. 😉

PPS - Fortunately, the car was at the other end of the driveway when the van got stuck. Mud season is really bad this year - lots of flooding.

Nope. I’d order a flower arrangement for our table like my mother always did, but I have cats and some of the traditional easter flowers are toxic to them.

Right now for Lent, in my front porch windows, I have a Crown of Thorns with the 3 nails on a purple pillow & also a Fontanini Calvary scene of the 3 Crosses & statues. They will be replace on Easter Sunday with a lighted white Cross & signs that say “He has Risen” on them.

We have a large screen in the living room with some hooks on it where we hand seasonal nicknacks, and we have a couple of Easter items for that. We have a brandy snifter that we fill with Easter eggs and some floral stuff we put around the dining room. And we have a wreath for the front door.

Purple cloth with Pieta at present. Adding portrait of Our lady of Sorrows.
These will be replaced with a Faith, hope, and love candle on a white cloth and an empty cross.

I have a ceramic Pieta that I bought several years ago from a Hallmark shop that was closing. I put it on the mantel (le?). Also, have bunny, chick, and egg decorations for the children. I also have a bunny village–houses and buildings and figures that I display. After Easter I will take most of it to the Goodwill store. None of my family is interested in keeping up the tradition. I love Easter lilies.
