Jon, law abiding citizens break the rules daily (speeding, drunk driving…), do you actually believe that if there was not control over these things there would be no breaking of the rules?
Gun control does not limit the ability of the law-abiding to purchase a gun. It only limits the abuse of gaining access to guns. Yet, if there are no consequences (no financial loss, loss of license, criminal liability), the “good” gun industry will continue to filter guns into the hands of the “bad” citizens.
