Nope. Also, raw almonds are healthier for you than roasted.

Just food for thought. 😋

Nobody has mentioned any type of roasting here my friend. 😉

I’m talking raw almonds whose skin you can take off with your hand.

Thanks for the tip

Oops sorry, maybe my blood sugar levels are to high and my brain isn’t working correctly. Maybe I should eat a handful of almonds, to help regulate my sugar levels so I can think straight. 😃

Actually, since you are speaking of the the raw almonds you should leave the skins on, because the majority of the antioxidants contained in almonds are in the skins.

Raw almonds are a super food.

Thanks for the thread I think I’m going to go buy myself a bag to kick start my diet. 👍

God Bless

This is literally the dumbest thread I have done here 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 I just enjoy dumb humor.
And also, I love The Life of Brian. I’ll watch it later while I eat some almonds WITH skin 😉

Wow. I guess almonds aren’t like humans: the important stuff is in the skin 😉

No,. It never occurred to me to do that! 🤔

I will skin almonds when I cook if a recipe calls for it, but for good ol’ snacking the skins don’t bug me.

Well before @MT1926 came and impacted my life they sure bugged me!

We shall find these people that skin almonds and reeducate them. Big Almond is watching. Eat your skins.

There are people who take the skin off of almonds before eating them?

How many hours a week does that take? I plow them into my mouth by the handful.

No, I just eat them. I eat peanut shells too.

It all goes down into the dark recesses of the Acid Bath of Hades.

You and BUY blanched Almonds if you don’t like the skin…
Just saying…
Extra fiber in the skin…

Ahaha, sometimes I’ll eat peanut shells a bit.Orange peel occassionally and if I’m at the sea even a taste of salty dry seaweed (iodine deficient?)

Me, I always try biting the longwise center to get them splitting down the middle. Sometimes it leaves a really smooth surface.

The white part of orange, lemon, grapefruit peel is suppose to be very good for you…I may sound like a nut case but read it somewhere but for the life of me can’t remembe where…

I have long eaten the white part of orange peel. I’m weird like that, I also eat the kiwi skin and every last part of an apple including the seeds
