Do you talk to yourself?

Oh, gosh, yes. The most embarrassing are the question and answer sessions… “Now, let’s see, what was I doing? Oh, yes, dinner. What shall we have for dinner? Hmmm. Ham, how does that sound? Yes, ham, that will be good.”

What is worse, if I can’t come up with a dinner idea, I’ve been known to ask the refrigerator, “Refrigerator, what do you have any there? Anything? Goodness, you’re a wreck. Somebody should clean you. Oh, yeah, that would be me. Well, not today. So c’mon, what do you have in there?”

There is a merciful aspect to it, though. Who else could put up with that kind of prattle?

My rule is, if you can hold down a job, get dinner on the table, and don’t upset people, you can be as crazy as you want.

Aaaaaaaaallllllllllllllll the time!!!

When I was a child, I used to notice my father muttering to himself when he thought he was alone. It was something that worried my mother, and she talked to me about it when I got older.

Now, I have become my father 😛 😛 😛

The 30-some-odd hours of solitude in the boat factory every week don’t help. It’s either talk to myself, pray, or tape my mouth shut.
