Do you think God was trying to give me a sign through this dream?

I’m constantly having dreams that take place in churches, I had one recently that, I was just walking around in this huge church, I’ve never been there in my life. The church I attend isn’t very big at all, simple alter, simple everything, it’s not a big city, and there’s not a big Catholic population here, but in that dream I was just completely blown away at the beauty of that church, and I felt at home. There was a priest there, but I didn’t talk to him…and I got bored today, and just randomly looked up different churches in different places, and I came across one in Philadelphia, that looks exactly like the church in my dream. I had forgotten about the dream, then I came across that church, and it hit me. I’ve never even been to Pennsylvania. I don’t even live on that side of the country. Opinions?

I think that is very interesting, but what exactly were you thinking it is a sign of? As Rainaldo said, I would think it would be more clear to you if it were a sign of something. Sometimes, a beautiful dream is a gift from God, no messages attached. Perhaps you will visit that church one day and remember your dream. May God bless you.

Find out what order of priest the church belongs to. May shed some light.

If it is St. John’s on 13th and chestnut I believe it is the capuchin friars, padre pio’s order. They also have a thriving young adult catholic ministry there last I was there and are involved with the catholic underground, a pretty cool young adult group.

Hmm or was it the young adult group near rittenhouse that is associated with the catholic underground near 22nd and wallnut.

Someone may have prayed for you there or asked the patron saint of that order to intercede for you.

Those are just guesses I don’t know what the dream means.

Both those congregations have vibrant young adult ministries.
