Do you think its Morally OK to have Bingo and/or Poker/Blackjack at an Annual Chuch F

I cannot imagine being at a Church bizzar and have someone come up to me selling raffle tickets with no chance to win anything. That would be like tithing or something.

I would not let the gambling get into big money. No deeds to your house on the table. But I think it is ok to have gambling at a Church bizzar.
 
Bingo and Catholic goes together like cookies and milk.

I love to gamble BUT I hate to lose. IF the gambling does not get out of hand, it is perfectly acceptable. IF everyone has a legitimate chance to win, then there is nothing wrong or immoral about it. Everyone has a right to play or not, that is their right (and responsibility).

Folks have an individual responsibility not to bet more (or lose more) than what they can afford. Sometimes, we go to some of these big fund raisers, and at the end of the night, I can’t imagine how we managed to spend so much :confused: :tsktsk: but then I remember it was for a good cause, and I don’t feel so bad. 🙂
