Do you think Jesus calls people to be Atheist?

Just a question im not sure about. If Jesus can call people to the Priesthood and to the Catholic Church. Think he would call someone to be Atheist. Now I know Jesus would never send anyone tell hell. But who says hes going to hell?

I do not believe that is possible. Atheism is the explicit denial of Truth (for God is Truth). Because Christ is the truth and the way (John 14:6), he would never lead anybody into falsehood, hence Christ would never lead anybody to atheism.

Catholics believe that God desires all men know Him and to be saved. The bible says:

1 exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of **God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.**

The Truth is not an idea or an opinion, it is a person named Jesus. So no, Jesus does not call anyone to be atheist, though He has given us all free will. You can believe or disbelieve as you wish.

Jesus doesn’t call anyone to be atheist. He calls everyone to be a believer and to convert into a holy man under the light of God.

God calls all to be part of the one holy catholic and apostolic church. God would never call someone to be atheist. Such thinking is heterodox thinking.

I don’t know about that one, but certainly for some, atheism is a spiritual “building-up,” part of a return to God.
