Do you think one can know the future by a science?

that is, can one know the future actions of a person by some science? Or if not a systematic body of knowledge, at least through careful observation?

No, never. Not possible. Ever. Any prediction will be a coincidence or will have a hand in the outcome (i.e. tipping over a bottle and saying ‘this bottle will fall on the floor now’) and thus not a prediction.

I agree with you. It is simply not possible.

Yes, but the amount of data is astonishing to say the least. I’ve had this notion for a while and I saw it featured on Fringe in a recent episode, validates my theory. The future is the product of a mathematical equation, a sum of the present. But the equation is far complex, you have to take into account all natural events, peoples thoughts, feelings, emotions, tendencies, desires, etc. The equation may be the simpliest part, gathering all the data required is near impossible for a human. But not for God 😉
